TUS Q

Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 November 2026

These terms govern access to the TUS Q app and the use of its services. Please review them before using the app.

Scope of the service

TUS Q provides practice questions, explanations, personal notes and study statistics to prepare for Türkiye’s Medical Specialty Training Entrance Examination (TUS). The content is for educational purposes and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or clinical decisions. No particular examination result is guaranteed.

The app is independent and has no official affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship relationship with ÖSYM or any other institution.

Accounts and rules of use

Accounts are created using Apple or Google. Users are responsible for keeping access to their account secure and using the app lawfully. Unauthorised access to another person’s account, bypassing security or usage limits, disrupting the service and bulk extraction of the question bank are prohibited.

The service is provided for personal study. Acknowledgement of the privacy notice, acceptance of the terms of use and data processing permissions are recorded separately with the relevant document versions.

Free access and Premium

All subjects are available free of charge in this version. The daily free allowance is 40 questions. Starting a new test reserves an allowance equal to the number of questions in that test; resuming a test in progress or reviewing a previous result does not use the allowance again. A new practice test using previously answered questions counts towards the daily allowance. The daily allowance resets according to Türkiye time. On the free plan, starting a new test requires an internet connection; tests already started can be continued offline.

Premium provides study without a daily question limit and PDF export through a monthly, 3-month or 6-month subscription. No free subscription trial is offered. Creating an account does not start a subscription. The applicable price, duration and scope are shown on the purchase screen and in the App Store confirmation.

PDF exports and usage limits

Premium allows up to 400 questions per day and a total of 1,500 questions per monthly allowance period to be exported as PDFs. The daily limit resets at midnight in Türkiye time. Each monthly period is calculated from the subscription’s starting day and time; if the same day does not exist in a particular month, the last day of that month is used. PDF allowances also renew monthly for 3-month and 6-month subscriptions. Unused allowances do not carry over to the next period.

The limits apply to the number of questions exported, not the number of files or pages. Exporting the same questions again as a new PDF also uses the allowance. Notes and explanations do not count as additional questions. Devices linked to the same account share the allowance. Creating a PDF requires an internet connection and server verification; if verification is unavailable, the export cannot be completed.

The export allowance is considered used when the file has been prepared and presented in the sharing or printing screen. Closing that screen afterwards does not restore the allowance. Reserved allowances are released for operations cancelled before file creation or that fail during preparation. Resending the same operation after a connection interruption does not deduct the allowance a second time.

PDF files are provided for personal study. To protect rights in the content, pages include a watermark containing an account code; footers contain the account code, a unique PDF number, creation date and page number. The PDF number is linked to the relevant account and export record.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

When paid subscriptions are offered, payment is collected through the App Store using the payment method associated with your Apple Account. The subscription begins after purchase confirmation and automatically renews at the stated intervals unless cancelled. TUS Q does not receive your payment card details.

You can cancel your subscription at any time on your iPhone or iPad under Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. The applicable renewal date and access expiry date are shown on Apple’s subscription screen.

Access to a subscription cancelled during a paid period generally continues until the end of that period. Deleting the app or your TUS Q account does not cancel the subscription.

Restoring purchases and refunds

While using the Apple Account used for the purchase, sign in to TUS Q and select Settings → Restore Purchases (Ayarlar → Satın alımları geri yükle). Restoring purchases does not initiate a new purchase; it only verifies your valid subscription entitlements again. If you restore a purchase in a new TUS Q account, subscription access may transfer to that account; the same subscription cannot be used simultaneously on multiple TUS Q accounts.

Refund requests for App Store payments are submitted through Apple’s Report a Problem service and assessed by Apple. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund previous payments. Your statutory consumer rights are reserved.

Account deletion and its effect on subscriptions

Account deletion is completed in the app through two separate confirmations and identity verification. Your account, profile, associated app records and study data on this device are permanently deleted. Exceptions for data that must be retained by law are explained in the privacy notice. Deleted test history, favourites and notes cannot be recovered.

When an account is deleted, Premium access linked to that account is removed. However, account deletion does not cancel the App Store subscription or stop automatic charges. If you do not want renewal, you must separately cancel the subscription in the Subscriptions section of your Apple Account.

You can restore an active purchase in a new TUS Q account using the Apple Account used for the purchase. This restores only valid subscription access; it does not restore the deleted account or study records. Deleting an account does not automatically create a refund.

Intellectual property

Rights in the questions and explanations originally prepared for TUS Q, the organisation of its content, its logo, design and software belong to the app’s rights holder to the extent recognised by law. No exclusive rights are claimed over scientific information, general examination learning objectives or works belonging to third parties.

You may use the content for personal study and save it using the PDF feature included in your subscription. Without written permission or a statutory exception, reproducing, distributing, sharing, publishing, selling or transferring questions, explanations, or PDFs and screenshots containing them to another question bank, for commercial or non-commercial purposes outside personal study, is prohibited. Removing or altering watermarks or ownership information to conceal unauthorised sharing is also prohibited. Rights in the logo and design are separately protected. Statutory exceptions and rights arising from third-party and open-source licences are reserved.

If a breach of these rules is established, access to the account may be temporarily suspended or the account may be closed, depending on the nature and severity of the breach. The user will be informed of the reason and may submit an explanation or objection through the support address. The account code and PDF number are assessed together with other evidence; they do not, by themselves, conclusively establish fault on the user’s part. Statutory consumer and refund rights are reserved. Account closure does not automatically cancel the app store subscription.

You retain the rights in your personal notes and drawings. To report an infringement, send the relevant content and the basis of your request to the support address.

Content, personal records and liability

Questions may be added, corrected or removed. Changes are applied when your device receives an update. Removed questions are excluded from current study lists; content used in an earlier test may be retained to preserve that test’s statistics.

Not all test history and notes are automatically transferred between devices. Uninstalling the app or changing devices may result in the loss of local records. With Premium, you can save important study materials as PDFs.

We work to keep content up to date and the service accessible; we do not guarantee that all content is error-free or that access will be uninterrupted. Access may be restricted where necessary and proportionate because of unlawful use or security risks. Liabilities that cannot legally be limited and consumer rights are reserved.

Changes, applicable law and contact

Material changes to these terms are notified in the app. Changes do not retrospectively affect acquired rights or existing subscription terms in a manner contrary to applicable law. Apple’s standard licence agreement also applies to the app obtained through the App Store.

Subject to mandatory provisions, the laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply. Your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees, consumer courts and other legally competent authorities is preserved. For questions, please email destek@tusq.app.
